We designed this series to help AP® Chemistry teachers meet the College Board’s curriculum and lab requirements. You can teach your lab as a guided activity or an inquiry activity.
This modular series supports the 5E learning cycle of engage, explore, explain, extend, and evaluate to help high school students understand chemistry concepts that are hard to grasp. Use the kits individually, as a multi-kit topic strand, or collectively as a series.
Looking for a more traditional lab? Each kit in the Carolina ChemKits® series focuses on a single chemistry topic, and you can complete the activities in one class period.
Check your performance anxiety at the door. Each Carolina Chemonstrations® kit works right the first time and includes materials to wow your students for at least 4 performances.
Based on the NGSS engineering practices, this series challenges middle and early high school students to apply chemistry knowledge in a classroom design competition. The kits incorporate STEM concepts, encourage team building, and strengthen creative problem-solving skills.
Carolina® Chemistry Topic Bundles
Need a complete solution for hands-on chemistry lessons? Each topic bundle includes a teacher demonstration to introduce a topic and 2 classroom kits to provide a thorough lab experience. Topics include:
