Laboratory safety is paramount for every teacher in every science classroom. Communicating to students and modeling safe lab practices are requisite actions from the very first day of school and every day that follows.
It’s not always easy for students to understand the importance of lab safety or master the techniques needed in class. As classrooms become more diverse, the need for critical materials in languages other than English grows in importance.
Carolina offers a general laboratory agreement and course specific agreements in Spanish as well as English to ensure both students and parents understand the necessity for classroom lab safety.
